Wire Marking and Labeling FAQs

  • What wire marking methods do you offer?

We provide high-visibility inkjet marking (available in black and white text directly on the wire insulation) as well as versatile wrapped and flagged labeling solutions for flexible identification.

  • Can you mark text, numbers, or custom characters on the wires?

Yes. Our automated systems can print alphanumeric codes, part numbers, circuit identifiers, and custom formatting directly onto the wire to ensure easy tracking and hassle-free installation.

  • How do you ensure labels don't peel off in harsh environments?

We select industrial-grade labeling materials and adhesives engineered specifically for durability. Combined with our Process Control checks, we ensure labels withstand moisture, abrasion, and temperature fluctuations without peeling or fading.

  • What is the difference between wrapped and flagged labels?

Wrapped labels hug the circumference of the wire for a compact, low-profile fit. Flagged labels extend outward like a tab, providing a larger surface area to print longer text, barcodes, or complex identifiers.

  • Are your wire marking and labeling services compliant with industry standards?

Absolutely. All of our marking and labeling processes align with our rigid quality certifications, including IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards and UL-approved manufacturing guidelines.
